Ceramics and Sculpture Past Work
During my time at CCRI i took a class with Mazin Adam, hands down the best teacher I’ve ever taken classes with! I quickly fell in love with ceramics, took all 3 classes and stayed on as a studio assistant while i finished off my AFA degree. As you saw in my Hungrary trips i had the chance to trave abroad and study ceramics, unfortunately now that I’m at RIC trying to get my BFA in Art Ed i don’t have time for ceramics and turned to something a little more portable and not time sensitive (crochet) I miss ceramics everyday though!
Ceramic lighting!
My dad works in the electrical engineering field and has inspired some of my favorite past ceramic sculptures. Playing with light, line and form was super interesting to play around with. All 3 of my lights live in Cranston with my dad now <3. Thanks for encouraging and inspiring me dad!
